You don’t get much for $20 anymore — except, apparently, a streaming stick that makes television watching easy and scores you access to thousands of apps. Right now, Amazon’s newest Fire TV Stick HD is on sale for 43 percent off. This is the latest version of Amazon’s most popular streaming device, and it’s a real upgrade from previous models. It is so good, in fact, that more than 10,000 people have bought one in the last month alone. Find out why this upgraded, on-sale option is so popular below.

Deal of the day

Amazon Fire TV Stick HD

The Amazon Fire TV Stick HD is Amazon’s most compact and portable streaming device yet, plugging directly into any TV’s HDMI port to instantly unlock access to thousands of apps and over a million free movies and television episodes. It supports crisp 1080p Full HD streaming and comes with Wi-Fi 6 support for smoother, more reliable streaming even on busy home networks. The redesigned, ultra-thin profile is roughly 30 percent slimmer than previous models, so it tucks neatly behind wall-mounted TVs without needing an HDMI extension cable, and it can draw power straight from your TV’s USB port, cutting out the need for a separate wall adapter.

Setup takes just a few minutes, and the included remote works with Alexa, allowing you to control power and volume, search across apps by voice, and tap into Alexa+ for smarter, more personalized recommendations. All of your favorite streaming services — including Prime Video, Netflix, Disney+, Max, Hulu, Peacock, Apple TV+ and YouTube — come preinstalled, alongside free ad-supported options like Tubi, Pluto TV and Freevee. Currently, this device is 43 percent off, bringing the price down to $20.
