Finding the right double stroller is a completely different experience than shopping for a single one. After all, you now have two kids who need to get somewhere at the same time. It’s not just about fitting two seats onto one frame, though, it’s about whether you can actually push it once they’re in it, if your toddler has enough room to grow, if it fits through your doorway and whether you can lift it into your car without needing a second person.
As a mom of three kids ranging from 9 months to preschool age, I’ve tested strollers through every stage. I learned that the best stroller isn’t always the one with the most features on paper; it’s the one that makes getting out the door easier. The best double stroller is the one that fits your family’s actual routine, and that means navigating city sidewalks, loading up for a park day and getting two (or more) tired kids home after a long afternoon out. Here are my top picks after weeks of testing with my small children.

The best double strollers of 2026
These strollers made the cut for their maneuverability, comfort, and overall ability to make moving around a busy city with multiple small kids easier.
Zoe The Twin V3 Double Stroller

The Zoe V3 hits a sweet spot between lightweight, comfortable and practical. Many double strollers feel bulky and difficult to maneuver, but the Zoe keeps the frame manageable while giving both kids their own space.
The side-by-side design lets both children see what’s happening around them, and the seats recline independently, which is helpful when one child wants to nap while the other wants to stay upright. The updated V3 also adds infant compatibility, allowing you to use it from the newborn stage through toddlerhood.
I especially love the individual bumper bars. Instead of dealing with one large bar across the stroller, each child has their own bar that opens easily when getting kids in and out. The Zoe V3 has a lightweight frame that is easy to lift into a trunk and maneuver through stores, sidewalks and parks. The padded seats, individual canopies and adjustable footrests help keep kids comfortable during longer outings.

Nuna TRVL Dubl Double Stroller
The TRVL Dubl brings Nuna’s signature premium materials, sleek design and thoughtful details into a double stroller. It offers the convenience of a lightweight double stroller while still feeling elevated and polished.
Of all the double strollers I tested, this was one of the easiest to push, gliding smoothly through crowds and steering effortlessly. It felt sturdy enough for everyday use, was easy to wipe clean after inevitable snack messes, and made loading my kids in and out quick and hassle-free.
It’s also compatible with the Nuna Pipa car seat, which locks securely onto the frame in just a few steps, making the double a great option for families with both a newborn and a toddler.
Baby and toddler features:

UPPAbaby Minu Duo Stroller
The Uppababy Minu Duo solves one of the biggest double stroller complaints: bulk. It gives families a compact option without losing the premium details UPPAbaby is known for.
This is the stroller I’d choose when trunk space matters — its compact size makes it a great fit for smaller cars, apartments or families who don’t want a stroller taking over their space. It takes up less room than many side-by-side doubles, fits through a door, and the lightweight frame makes it easy to lift in and out of the car. The one-handed fold is especially helpful when you’re carrying a baby, chasing a toddler or loading bags.
The Minu Duo is made from premium fabrics , and has a lightweight frame and thoughtful details for daily use. The magnetic buckle system makes getting kids in and out easier and helps avoid pinched fingers.
Baby and toddler features:
Joie Rosemary LX Stroller
The Joie Rosemary LX offers many features found in higher-priced double strollers at a lower cost. It’s a sturdy, practical option for families who want flexibility without paying a premium price.
The assembly was simple and took about 10 minutes. The wheels snap into place easily, and the stroller feels sturdy once assembled. It handled bumps, gravel and sidewalks well, and worked on grass for shorter distances. The lie-flat recline is one of my favorite features, especially for younger babies. The straps move smoothly, making it easy to transition from sitting upright to nap mode.
The stroller has a durable frame, practical fabrics and a large storage basket . The basket holds plenty of baby gear, too, although it can make folding more difficult and is easier to access from the back. The magnetic side panels make loading kids easier but feel slightly less secure than traditional panels.
Baby and toddler features:

Silver Cross Jet Double Stroller
The Silver Cross Jet Double has a sleek design and a lightweight, travel-friendly frame. It’s one of the best-looking double strollers I tested and feels more premium than many compact models. It’s made from premium-looking fabrics, has a slim frame and elevated details that give it a luxury feel, and the handlebar and overall design feel polished.
The biggest advantage is the weight. It is incredibly light, making it easy to lift, carry, transport and store. It’s a great option for travel, airports, shopping trips and smooth sidewalks. The tradeoff is that the smaller wheels make it harder to push over bumps, gravel or uneven terrain.
Baby and toddler features:
Jeep Destination Double Stroller

A double stroller doesn’t have to cost more than a family vacation. The Jeep Destination Double offers a simple, functional design at a much lower price point than most while still giving kids a comfortable ride.
This stroller feels sturdy and ready for everyday family life. It’s easy to get kids strapped in, and the side-by-side design works especially well for park trips, playgrounds and casual outings. The tradeoff is that it doesn’t steer as easily as some higher-end double strollers, especially when navigating tighter spaces or uneven surfaces.
The lightweight aluminum frame makes it easier to lift and store, while the durable fabric seats allow for an easy wipe of juice, yogurt, and sunscreen. The storage basket is a good size for essentials, and the all-terrain wheels make it a solid option for parks and outdoor excursions .
Toddler features:
Bombi Gear Bēbee Twin V2
The BombiGear Bēbee Twin is not as well-known as picks from some major stroller brands, but it deserves attention for families looking for a lightweight, compact double stroller from a company that also makes sustainability a focus.
One of my favorite things about BombiGear is the company’s mission. For every stroller sold, the company plants a tree, so you are purchasing a stroller with a purpose.
The Bēbee Twin has a lightweight frame, compact design and easy-to-clean fabrics. The smaller footprint makes it easy to store in a closet, apartment or trunk, and the fabric wipes clean easily after snack spills and other everyday toddler messes, like chalk, mud and sticky popsicles.
Baby and toddler features:

Thule Urban Glide 3 Double Stroller

For families who spend weekends outdoors, the Thule Urban Glide Double is built for adventure. This is the stroller I would choose for long walks, park days, trail outings, and any family that needs a stroller capable of handling more than smooth sidewalks.
