Illinois mother charged with murder in death of 2-year-old son in case drawing comparions to Lindsay Clancy

An Illinois woman has been charged with three counts of murder in the death of her 2-year-old son in a case that has already drawn comparisons to the Lindsay Clancy trial , authorities confirmed. Corie A. Walsh, 40, was being held for medical treatment on Friday after she was found with wounds believed to be self-inflicted but non-life-threatening when police responded to her home on Tuesday, the Frankfort Police Department said in a news release.
